St George Drug Task Force SWAT Arrest 6 in Drug Bust Raid

(ST. GEORGE NEWS) — The sight of men hanging off the side of a vehicle is unusual enough. When it’s an armored vehicle and it says “SWAT” on it, it’s even more unusual. The St. George Police Department in conjunction with the Washington County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant Tuesday afternoon at 374 Vermillion Avenue.

Courageous 12-Year-Old Mormon Girl Comes Out as Gay In Front Of Her Entire Church

(Huffington Post)Twelve-year-old Savannah stood before her Mormon church community last month and told them she identifies as a lesbian and believes that God intended to make her that way.

Unfortunately, she was cut off part of the way through her speech by a church official who asked her to sit down, effectively silencing the preteen as she attempted to share her story.

Girl who encouraged boyfriend to commit suicide convicted of involuntary manslaughter

In 2014, 18-year-old Conrad Roy III was found dead in his car. The teen had killed himself by carbon monoxide poisoning from running a portable generator in his vehicle without ventilation. What’s even more disturbing about this teen suicide is that it appears to have been encouraged by Roy’s then 17-year-old girlfriend, Michelle Carter. She actively encouraged him to take his own life minutes before his death and the days leading up to it. Prosecutors showed that when Roy attempted to exit his vehicle, which was full of carbon monoxide, Carter spoke to him on the phone and told him to get back in.
